The heartwood if yellow, later light to dark brown.
Characteristics
Vividly striped with black veins. Distinct marks of spring wood pores.
Application
One of the oldest types of lumber. Teak is primarily used in shipbuilding and as high-quality furniture wood for interior finishing and series- produced furniture.
